How ’bout them apples?

” An apple a day keeps anyone away if you throw it hard enough. ” – A card I saw once.

Despite the fact that winter is still over a month away, fall already seems to be fading. The leaves on most of the nearby trees have dropped away. Christmas lights have already started to appear in that awful way they do right after Halloween. Jingle Bells was already playing in one of the grocery stores.

We headed out to enjoy what crispy bits of fall are still around and stumbled upon a nearby park with beautiful lakes, ducks, deer, and some local seagulls who reminded me of the coast.

The ducks sure had a nice view.

Looking Around

There were lots of deer running around the tall grass.

Getting Your Ducks in a Row

eh… seagulls? Regardless, they didn’t appreciate us disturbing their nap.

Fall All Around

There were so many beautiful textures and layers of fall.

Wild Apples

Tom found a wild apple tree. How ’bout them apples?
